This notice explains how we handle personal information when you browse our store, place an order, contact us or receive our marketing. Where applicable, we are the controller of the information we process for our business.

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide: your name, email, telephone number, delivery and billing details, order details, account information, marketing preferences, and the content of messages or return requests you send us.
• Payment and transaction information: information needed to process your purchase, refund and payment status. Payment providers process the payment credentials you submit at checkout.
• Information from your use of the store: device and browser information, IP address, cookie or similar identifiers, pages and products viewed, cart and checkout activity, purchases, and interactions with our marketing.
• Information from service providers: payment confirmations, delivery and tracking updates, and analytics, advertising or referral information connected with your interactions with our store.

2. How and why we use information

We use information to process payments and orders, arrange delivery and returns, provide customer support, operate accounts, maintain and improve the store, understand product interest, measure marketing and affiliate referrals, personalise experiences and advertising, and protect against fraud or misuse. We also use it to keep required business records, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

We send promotional communications in accordance with your preferences and applicable law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. Order and service communications may still be sent where needed to manage your purchase.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract for orders and customer service, legal obligations for required records, consent where required for marketing or tracking, and legitimate interests for activities such as operating and securing the business, subject to your rights and applicable law. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it.

3. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to operate the store, remember preferences, analyse activity, attribute referrals and measure or personalise advertising. Our store integrations include Google & YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook & Instagram, TikTok and GOAFFPRO. Data shared through these integrations can include device identifiers and browsing, cart or purchase events, depending on the service, its settings and your privacy choices.

Where consent is required, use the cookie banner to accept or reject optional categories. You can also manage cookies through your browser; blocking essential cookies may affect checkout or other store functions. For help changing a preference, contact us. Visiting the website or accepting our terms does not, by itself, replace consent where consent is required.

4. Shopify and other recipients

Our store is hosted by Shopify. We share information with Shopify to operate the store. Shopify also processes information for services based on your interactions with us, other merchants and Shopify, including personalisation and advertising. We also share information with providers that support payments, fulfilment and shipping, communications, analytics, advertising and affiliate attribution. This includes our fulfilment provider, NextSmartShip, and the integrations described above, as needed for those services. We may disclose information to comply with lawful requests, protect legal rights, or handle a business sale or restructuring subject to applicable law.

5. Advertising opt-outs and other privacy choices

Sharing information for advertising across websites may be treated as a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state privacy laws. Where applicable, you can opt out through Your Privacy Choices, or contact us by email or telephone. The store recognises Global Privacy Control signals in applicable regions through its privacy controls. Browser-based choices may need to be repeated on another device or browser.

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about your request. We may need information to verify your identity or an authorised agent's authority before responding. We will respond within the applicable legal timeframe and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Send requests or appeals to info@paretostudios.com, explaining the request and the email associated with your interactions with us. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection or privacy regulator. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

6. International processing and retention

We are a Wyoming, United States company. Our team and service providers, including Shopify and fulfilment providers, may access or process information in other countries. Shopify identifies the United States as our store's primary data-hosting location. International transfers are subject to any safeguards required by applicable law.

We retain information for the purposes described here, taking into account orders, returns, account activity, legal recordkeeping requirements, security and the resolution of disputes. Retention varies with the information and the reason for keeping it; a deletion request may be subject to lawful record-retention exceptions.

7. Security, children and external websites

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
